So satisfying!
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a big bowl of hearty chowder at the end of a long, hard day. Creamy potato, sweet corn niblets, a hint of smoked fish. Try it! I know you’ll love it, too.
Why does this meal contain fish ?
So, you noticed our Corn Chowder contains smoked fish. It's true! We use bonito flakes, which was our creative way of getting the smoky, umami flavors found in bacon into this dish, keeping it pescatarian and opening it up to more people's dietary preferences.
My corn didn't rehydrate, what do I do?
Dehydrated corn can take bit to fully rehydrate. Ambient temperature and elevation can also work against you here. If you take a bite and notice it's a bit too chewy, simply reseal the pouch and give it a few more minutes!
X Tear pouch open and REMOVE oxygen absorber.
X SINGLE SERVING Add a little less than one cup (350ML) of BOILING (yes, boiling) water to bag.
X DOUBLE SERVING Add a little less than two cups (700ML) of BOILING (yes, boiling) water to bag.
X STIR and reseal. HANG OUT for 15 minutes. Think about how big the universe is.
X OPEN. STIR AGAIN. EAT. SMILE.
X Rehydration will take LONGER at higher altitudes.
Our take on a New England classic. But don’t call it a soup. This rich stew is loaded with corn, potato and onion. For fish, we chose bonito flake for its smoky and umami flavors. Now you can enjoy this comforting, regional dish in any corner of the world.
