Create the most delicious meals, using clean ingredients, to be enjoyed wherever your adventures take you.
Founded in 2014, we were the first backpacking food brand to offer truly healthy options to the broader outdoor market. Our purpose was clear: to change how people eat on-the-go.
Chef Jennifer's creations are thoughtfully crafted to provide a meal that not only tastes great but is truly good for you. Whether you've hiked all day for that summit view, rose with an alpine start to earn those backcountry turns, or are simply looking for an easy-to-make option at home, all you need is boiling water and in minutes you'll have a delicious meal.
We strive to offer meals to suit all diets, which is why all of our products are gluten-free, low in sodium, and made with no preservatives. We also offer many vegan and vegetarian options.
Made In Maine
Maine has a long history of wilderness adventures and craftsmanship, especially when it comes to the outdoors. It’s a perfect setting for making Good To-Go’s lightweight dehydrated gourmet meals. Maine’s vast forestlands, with countless lakes and mountains and its thousands of miles of coastline, are breathtaking and inspiring. Good To-Go uses that inspiration to carry on the tradition of Maine craftsmanship focusing on quality and excellence. Every meal is handmade by cooks whose focus is creating the most delicious meals, to be enjoyed wherever your adventures take you.
We're Cooks, Not Food Scientists
We handcraft each meal in our own Kittery, Maine-based facility. The little cape house that Jen cooked her first meals in, is still the cornerstone of our headquarters. Over the years we've expanded to add a USDA-approved manufacturing facility.
Our meals are made using responsibly sourced ingredients. Each day, our cooks are actually prepping, cooking, dehydrating, then packaging our meals—aka real food.
Many companies outsource their manufacturing, allowing co-packers to produce their products—but we approach things differently.
Having complete control over the cooking process ensures that we not only have a deep connection with the food, but we can ensure it's made just the way it should be. And for us, employing Mainers and having a positive impact on the community we live in, is equally as important.
