FAQS

Is this a soup?
No, it really is a stew. By definition, a stew contains ingredients "stewed" in just enough liquid to be simmered for a period of time. It tends to be heartier than a soup. Whereas soup is primarily liquid, such as stock, combined with other ingredients such as vegetables or meat.

No meat... why so much protein?
Beans are protein-packed powerhouses. This is why each serving of our Kale and White Bean Stew contains 16g of protein, or 32g for an entire double serving. Not only that, but when you add potatoes and beans together, they form what is known as a complete protein, allowing a vegan dish to have the essential amino acids found in animal protein.

THE TASTIEST VEGAN MEAL!!

Okay this blend absolutely slaps!! My partner and I were hiking the Blue Mountains in Asheville on top of a 7-hour road trip back home and we needed something to fill our bellies with optimal nourishment without all the nasty toxic ingredients (we don’t eat fast food or vegan fast food). This gave us the absolute energy that we needed and had us licking our forks when we were done lol!! We did add some nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and a hint of paprika for a touch. You will not be disappointed by this if you want something warm for the belly (even cold hits the soul good too)!

Three Cheers for Good To-Go!

As a gluten-free vegan and a bikepacker, food options can be tough. Like really tough.

So, when I discovered Good To-Go, I was both excited … and skeptical.

Scary flashbacks to dehydrated “meals” from my childhood backpacking trips (sorry, dad) still haunted me.

However, at the end of a long day of riding in subfreezing temps, I can now – literally – think of nothing more delightful than tearing into this meal. It was *that* good (and, yes, that’s why I just bought a bunch more).

And so here I am writing a 5-star review (something I don’t normally do) and singing the praises of the Good To-Go Kale and White Bean Stew as if I was being paid to do it (which I’m not).

Try it and see for yourself. But be prepared: because you’re going to want to stand up and shout your own three cheers for Good To-Go, too!
