FAQS

Is this meal spicy?
Yes, this meal has a fair amount of spice. It is a Thai Curry, after all! However, when compared to many authentic Thai curries, it would be considered fairly mild. Heat is subjective, so if you are the type to find a medium salsa way too hot, then you might steer clear. If you have a tolerance for and enjoy spicy foods, you'll find this dish to be a nice medium-level heat.

Wait, this meal contains milk?
Allow us to explain: You may have noticed in the ingredient list that this meal contains coconut milk, which is not a dairy product. But it also states that it contains milk as a potential allergen. This is due to the very small amount of sodium caseinate—contained within the separate coconut milk powder pouch—which acts as a stabilizer for the coconut powder. Please use discretion if you have an allergy/intolerance to milk.

Important WARNING for California Residents

Lemongrass

Lemongrass

Lemongrass has a mild lemon and ginger-like flavor that is both bright and complex. The native Southeast Asian plant is a rich source of antioxidants as well as iron, calcium and vitamin C.
Thai Chili

Thai Chili

A staple in Thai cuisine, these little chilis give our Thai Curry just the right amount of heat. Capsaicin, the compound in chilis responsible for their heat, also provides antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Green Beans

Green Beans

The humble green bean. No introduction needed here. But did you know, green beans contain protein? And when combined with rice, such as the fragrant jasmine rice used in our Thai Curry, it creates a complete protein with the essential amino acids needed for muscle growth and recovery.

Wow!

Found this brand at my local Sierra store. Bought the Thai Curry and took it camping and honestly I wasn’t expecting much since my experience with MREs / dehydrated camp food is pretty mediocre but this stuff was so flavorful, hot, spicy, and delicious that I am now excited to try everything else from this company.

Changed and still yummy

I like both iterations of this one. It is easier not to have to add the coconut powder, which can fly in the wind.

I've tried a LOT of backpacking food- this is my favorite

I've eaten this Thai Curry at home for meals. It's that good. And I love the G2G fresh quality ingredients you can pronounce that are not delivered in a sea of salt. Just good clean food that tastes great and is super easy to prepare- such a meaningful thing after a day's effort in the backcountry, right? It's also a great feeling to have TASTY food ready for the family in case of an emergency. My only regret- I'm a big calorie burner & consumer and they are discontinuing the 2-serving size. So I'm buying up a bunch of 2-serving pouches while they're still available. When they're gone I'll just have to bring two for each meal. Not ideal, but worth it. Thanks for a great product!

Delicious

Delicious camp meal for two light eaters or one very hungry person after a rigorous day on the trail. Good option for pescatarians wanting an Asian-inspired meal. It’s bland, so need to add more spice, hot sauce, etc. It’s also short on protein for my needs and preferences. My ask would be to add a vegetarian protein like dried tofu.
