Great taste, not enough calories
One of the reasons I buy dehydrated and freeze dried foods for my trips is to simplify meal prep during what are sometimes long and strenuous days of paddling. While the Good to Go meals taste great, their calorie counts require that I supplement my meals with additional food if I’m to get the calories I need for the rigors of canoe tripping. For example, a single serving size of the kale and white bean stew offers just 360 calories, which is too few, while the two serving size offers 720 calories, which is too many for one person. I wish Good to Go would offer a single serving “Expedition” size of each meal with a calorie count of 500 to 550.
