OK, true confession. This food kit went to North Carolina Helene relief so I didn't actually eat a single one of these. However, I did recently go on a trip to the Appalachian Blue Ridge area and Good To Go is the food I took with me. It is wonderful. It can be "cooked" in the bag (just add hot water) but I preferred to dump it in a pan and re-hydrate it that way since I was not packing on this trip, I was in a camper-van. My favorite is the spaghetti. I was so happy when I saw Good To Go offering a way to send these as relief after Helene, distributed to areas cut off from stores. That is the hallmark of a great company with incredible social values. I also keep a supply in a box in a closet in the event we too have a tragedy someday. The shelf-life is long enough that these can also be kept for emergency food. Yum.
