FAQS

Is your gluten-free pasta any good?
We get it. Most gluten-free pastas leave a lot to be desired. This is exactly why we were very selective when choosing a pasta for this dish. We chose to use a brown-rice pasta that has a similar look and feel to traditional wheat-based pastas. But more importantly, it's delicious. Try for yourself and see why so many have fallen in love with this gluten-free and vegan entrée.

Why is my sauce watery?
Give it a bit more time, and stir well. Dehydrated marinara sauce can take a little extra time to come back to its full glory. If you notice yours seems a bit watery and not as thick as you'd expect, following these simple steps should do the trick.

      Really good

You don’t really expect a gourmet meal when you are eating camp food. But you’d be surprised how absolutely delicious this pasta is. We rehydrated it and sprinkled a little sharp cheddar over the top and felt like we were eating a homemade meal. We will be buying this again. It also sits easy on your stomach when you’re hiking High mileage. One serving is very filling. This is a terrific easy camp meal. We use it for RV Boondocking too.

      Fantastic backpacking entrée

On multi-day trips, I find myself saving Pasta Marinara for my last dinner, so I always have something to look forward to. The noodles hydrate to a perfect al dente, and the sauce is rich and thick, with a nice tangy tomato flavor. One of my favorite Good-to-Go meals.

      Delicious pasta

The pasta marinara was even better than I expected. I wasn’t as excited about this one since it’s just sauce and pasta, but it was delicious and didn’t need anything else, except maybe some parmesan! Some extra vegetables or sources of protein would be nice to give it a little more nutritional value. I didn’t want to bring this one backpacking because I was worried that red sauce would give me heartburn, but I felt great after eating it so I would not worry about that in the future.
