Carrot, Wakame, Cabbage and Hemp Hearts with a Carrot-Ginger Vinaigrette

A power bowl is a complete meal filled with simple, healthy ingredients. Ours begins with a base of hemp hearts, topped with carrots, wakame (seaweed) and cabbage. But it’s our flavorful carrot-ginger dressing that takes it to new heights. Chef Jen’s inspiration for this dish dates to her childhood, when she fell in love with the carrot-ginger dressing at a Japanese restaurant in her hometown—some things just stay with you. Best of all, no stove required! All you need is cool water to enjoy a delicious meal created by an award-winning chef, in the backcountry, on the road, or wherever life takes you.

    Interesting new flavor from Good-to-Go

Totally unique and delicious flavor, unlike any other freeze-dried food I have tried, with a creamy, slightly sweet sauce and a nice "crunch" to the main ingredients after hydration. It reminds me of a new, high-end, gourmet take on cole slaw. I think it works equally well for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
